You can cancel RankOtter online at any time. Here is exactly how cancelling and refunds work.
1. How to cancel
- Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel plan. It takes two clicks.
- You'll see one confirmation screen and get a confirmation email.
- You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. No calls or emails needed.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If RankOtter isn't for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. This applies to your first payment on any plan, once per customer. [Confirm exact conditions.]
3. Consumers: your 14-day right to cancel
If you buy as a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel. At checkout you can ask us to start straight away; once your first article has been delivered, you lose the right to cancel for that article, but the 30-day money-back guarantee still applies to your first payment.
4. Annual plans
We email you 30 days before an annual plan renews. If you cancel an annual plan after the first 30 days, you keep access until the end of the year you have paid for. [Confirm whether partial refunds are offered.]
5. Top-ups
Top-up articles never expire while your account is open. Unused top-ups are refundable within 14 days of purchase if none have been used.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
